New Computer Chair

Ok so im looking for some advice on a new computer chair. It gets used a lot for gaming / general computer use but atleast 6 - 8 hours a day minimum. i guess im asking what you all use and if you think its worth the price

Comments

  • I just use a stool but don't stay on computer as long as you

  • Buro metro

    • I use the Buro metro, but wouldn't mind one with a headrest I think… Will upgrade someday. Concerned that the Dx-Raxer style chairs would be way too hot for Aussie / QLD summers tho. That fake leather and wrap around design sounds awful, and may be better suited for other climates…

  • I own a DX racer king series and can game/watch movies web browsing etc.. 12 hours plus no problems.
Zero regrets spending the $449 i paid.

    • Really? They appear to have adjustable arms only and they're listed at $439 and $479 (USD). Are you just so happy with the bright colours that the price didn't matter?

      • I'm happy that my arse and back doesn't hurt after sitting for long periods of time unlike the cheap $100 ebay chair or the bathurst racer chair from Office works before that

and the arms adjust in every direction as well as it reclines same as a card seat
I'm not sure what else you require in a computer chair.

Prices changed slightly since i bought this chair but heres where i bought mine from.

  • What's your budget?

that racing chair from super cheap auto

  • I use herman miller mirra 2 but also briefly owned the aeron and can highly recommend both but if you're patient you can get a second hand one at a very good price.

  • Don't get pvc or bonded leather chairs, it's always the fabric that goes first in that shit.

I bought this chair, couldn't be happier. I use to have the tendency to need to sit cross legged, but this chair is so comfy to me I can keep my feet grounded for long periods of time.

I'm using a Bathurst racer chair, and I use it for gaming. Been using it for about a month now and no problems.
    Only $148 if you're on a budget.

There are also much better quality chairs like dx racer, which come to a pretty pricey point of $449.

  • My recommendation is the Oyster chair from Stationery Wholesalers. Around $400 but very very comfortable.

Are you the same poster who wanted an air conditioner that doesn't cool the room down but wants cool air on him? lol

    • thanx for the tip. No that wasnt me and that also makes no sense
