I was in Adelaide over Christmas, and West Lakes and Arndale movies both have $10 sessions all the time. I was wondering if there were any movie theatres around Sydney (especially close to Haberfield) that have cheap tickets? Most places are getting close to $20 now.
It's going to be really hot tomorrow and we don't have aircon at home, so it's one way to escape the heat.

Just get a free/$2 sim and take advantage. No self respecting ozbargainer would pay full price for movie tickets.
Reading cinemas have $10 tix - (nearest to Haberfield would be Rhodes or Auburn, but there is also one at Rouse Hill).

Unfortunately I think 'movie of the week' this week might be xxx:return of xander cage at all their cinemas :(
haha yeah, I saw that. Thought I should keep my options open although I have seen the other XXX movies.
But Rhodes is only a 20 minute drive away so I'll probably go there - 4 hours free parking when seeing a movie as well, looking forward to keeping cool.
Don't Optus and/or Telstra do cheap movie tickets? I think you can buy off ebay too?
