How Do I Delete an eBay Ad?

Hi, I put an item on eBay for auction and this evening a person asked if they could buy it now. I agreed but said I needed payment ASAP so that I can cancel the auction. The person got back to me and said when she tried to pay on PayPal via eBay it would not allow her to do it. So she put in a bid instead. I said let me remove the ad, then I will tell you how to make a payment on PayPal. Now I cannot remove the ad because of the bid which has made the auction active. I don't know what to do apart from put sold in the as! Does anyone have any ideas how I can cancel the auction and remove the ad please? Thank you.

    What you should do is get her to put her bid at what buy it now price you guys decided on and then you can cancel the listing and it will sell to her for that price.

    Instructions below:

    Firstly, make sure the bid is at that buy it now price you decided on

    1. Go to My eBay > Selling and find the item.
    2. From the More actions drop-down menu, select End My Listing Early.
    3. If there are bids on your item, choose how you want to end your listing.
    4. If there are 12 or more hours before the end of the listing, select Cancel bids and end listing early or Sell item to high bidder.
    5. Select the reason you're ending your listing early (For you it will be Sell Item to high bidder) and click End My Listing.
