IKEA Eneloops - AAA/AA and charger advice

I'm taking the drive to my local IKEA specifically for AAA batteries. I'm looking to buy AAA batteries (roughly 10) for the remotes at home.

Can someone please recommend what the best ones are to buy? I'm a little confused with the naming.

LADDA 2450 AA
LADDA 1000 AA

LADDA 900 AAA
LADDA 500 AAA

At a guess the best AAA would be the LADDA 900? The only reason I'm guessing as the other LADDA 500 have "new" next to them. If I recall correctly, the newer stock may not perform or be the rumoured Panasonics.

All advice would be welcomed.

Lastly, I require a charger for these. What's the best charger that would do the job. I recall reading that ALDI stock one that is fairly cheap and suffice.

Thanks.

the numbers are the capacity of the battery.

    go the -
    LADDA 2450 AA
    LADDA 900 AAA

good batteries with low self discharge. they last for ages .

some people might argue that it is over kill to put these batteries in remotes as batteries tend to last very long in remotes due to low usage. but I use recahargables in all my remotes.

the Ladda charger is pretty good.

don't forget to sign up for the Ikea Family card to get a discount on all items.

  • HAHA Click bait post.
I thought IKEA were selling Eneloops :P

    • They are actually the same cells as the ENeloop Pro, just rebranded as IKEA and sold dirt cheap.

Ikea usb charger starts from $4 that can do either 2 AA or 2 AAA at any one time. Pretty decent and USB charging. Ac not included though but you can use existing smartphone charger or power banks.

  • 2450 last longer per charge than 1000, 900 last longer per charge than 500

  • Any suggestions on a cheap smart charger? I've researched and got that the Aldi chargers are great, but only available once or twice a year. Is there an alternative to these or something similar that anyone can recommend? I obviously don't want to comprise the batteries life expectancy by using the wrong charger.

    • I have a Panasonic BQ-392 purchased it based on recommendations here, works well for me.
