LG G5 - Back Button not working!

Hello everyone,

My LG G5 phone has now broken. I cannot switch it off, take a screenshot or switch it on (without having the charger plugged into it) because the button at the back isn't working. I can press it in but it doesn't do anything.

The fingerprint scanner works fine but the button itself when it is pressed in doesn't work. I have kept my phone in a case ever since I got it and it just doesn't work now.

No water damage has occurred. Has anyone else had problems or does anyone have any tips?

    contact seller and send back to be repaired?

      I have done that. I am just waiting to hear back from them. Quality Deals on eBay. I heard that it might be a long wait.

    Contacting seller is your best bet. If the warranty isn't intact, you can refer to 3rd party solutions near your place although the seller still remains the better option even in this case.

    If its Australian stock contact LG directly (via website) and they will refer you to a 3rd party repairer who will repair free of charge.

    I believe LG offers double taping in the screen to turn it on and double tap to turn it off. This may help you using the phone.
