I got the Aldi (Kuchef) version on sale after it had been sitting on the shelf for 3 weeks. $199 reduced to $99. Its been going strong for three years now and on paper the features look the same. Very hard to justify spending 550% more on this…
We have one of these.
Flat beater and dough hook that are included are not stainless steel. They are possibly iron and covered with white paint. Check the white colour parts in official photos.
Drop them on the floor and the paint layer breaks up and starts to peel off, and then the paint will be in the food. The manufacturer says that the paint is food grade and encouraged us to eat it in cake if it so happens (or, cough up for a higher end model that comes with stainless steel counterparts )
Making them of stainless steel without having to paint it would have solved a lot of issues.
