I thought price wise it's a decent buy, any ideas on international warrenty from Samsung?

Thoughts and advice appreciated.

I would stay clear as an Aus buyer as they only offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and "No manufacturer's warranty should be expected, unless stated in description." It will work with Australian carriers, but it just may not be worth the hassle as if something goes wrong…

  • The US networks operate on different frequency bands to ours in Australia.

Even though it's an S7, the hardware inside still comes in different versions based on the region.

Make sure you double-check that before you commit to purchasing.

Here's some information on the Australian Networks.

It is locked to Verizon ( in description ) - so wont work in Australia, needed to be unlocked ( additional $$$ & hassles ).

    • this.

  • moving on from your xiaomi redmi note 3?

    • No plans at this stage, was having a look for a family member.
I'm still very happy with the Redmi note 3. I've thought of upgrading this year some time but honestly not sure as it's a great phone.

  • lol did u read the description.

It says in bold red does not ship to aust

    • I have a US forwarding address already..Not sure how that's relevant to my questions

  • Samsung Aus does not cover international units nor refurbished units
