I can't check because this was ages ago and my purchase history doesn't go back that far. But I don't THINK they reduced my refund by the 10% from the pair I kept.
As I said I'm not 100% sure but it might be worth a shot to some people who can't find someone to get the second pair with

Maybe want to include the exclusions on there bud. I'm assuming its the same as previous coupons that do not include Oakley. I tested and no discount added to Oakleys.

Yes, Luxottica brands only at Sunglass Hut I think. i.e. Luxottica own Sunglass Hut. Serengeti are owned by Bushnell.
I thought Serengeti was owned by Bolle. The link to Bushnell is they are both subsidiaries of Vista Outdoor. Certainly in Oz Serengeti is sold by the Bolle guys.

@kiwigene: Ah. I am going to say we are both right. My history with these brands doesn't go back far enough. Clearly Serengeti has been folded underneath Bolle so I am reflecting the situation today, but you're correct historically.. Bushnell did own them before being acquired.

Here's another tip. Buy two pairs online to get 40% off, then just return 1 in store. The Point Of Sale system isn't sophisticated enough (it's actually really bad) to adjust a discount to 30% and apportion the refund thusly so you've just bought 1 pair for 40% off in a more roundabout way.
Thanks OP…Went in store at George St and mentioned 'Friends and Family' and got 30% discount…Most models that are out of stock online are still available at most stores and they would give you discount if you just mention 'Friends and Family' voucher.

Yes, I've purchased online and returned in store no problems at all. You have to do it within 90 days of purchase.
If you're thinking of buying anything from Sunglass Hut - a word of warning that all their stock is removed from its original box and usually put on display before being sold to customers without the original packaging. If you want to be guaranteed a brand new pair that is in the original box, just get the code from the glasses and order them from their website instead.
I've learnt this the hard way by purchasing glasses that look fine in store but when you get them into sunlight they are scratched up bad. Then when you try return them they blame you for scratching them.
Used to work for sunglass hut. A lot of online orders would be fulfilled at the store level, because now they are all drop shipped from China. they are even making wayfarers in China now (so forget about the made in Italy shit), they won't say made in Italy on them any more, rather, they'd have a 'letter T printed on the inside of the arm, to indicate made in China…better off just buying a pair and getting them to ring you when the new pair comes in and swap them over…hell I used to put plastic on the arms that I found in the bin if the customer was marked as 'picky'…"
if it is a popular pair just get them to do a SKU search to get the double or triple kept in the draw. No sunglass Hut keeps any stock in the box because it's usually the same box and case and there's no space. Unless it is a particular Oakley or another brand with particular accessories then it doesn't matter if they give you a wayfarer case from a high street coz it's the exact same.
I went in on Thursday to buy a new pair (before I knew of this deal) the guy let me try some on then opened the draw and got out a brand new pair.
