Bluetooth Audio Adapter; a solution to wired speakers?

Hey guys,

I have got great speakers, but they are not wireless… I am sick of plugging my phone/laptop to it to play music esp, my study desk is far away.

I have identified this as a potential solution:

Logitech Bluetooth audio receiver - https://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/bluetooth-audio-adapt…

This is selling for $48 at jb Hifi or $35+delivery at Kogan (comes to around $45).

What do you guys think of this device? Are there any better devices out there? Perhaps, anyway to get a deal on this device?

Have a good weekend

Thanks guys!

  • Many companies sell these. You can probably get elcheapo versions off ebay / alixpress / bangood that would likely be good as a "try" before you buy - i haven't used any of these.

    $6.22 delivered: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Wireless-3-5mm-USB-Bluetooth…

    • Thanks mate… 23 to 47 days in delivery though….

  • There's also chromecast audio

    • doesn't support bluetooth

      • Yeah it doesn't use bluetooth. not compatible with your system?

        • it is, but I prefer bluetooth. I have chromecast 2 for my TV

  • If your speakers are truly great as you indicated, then the Logitech Bluetooth Adaptor will disappoint because it lacks support for high quality and lossless codecs.

I suggest adding a proper network player to the amplifier to do your great speakers justice. Something like the TEAC NT-503 which supports AAC and aptX codecs.

    • thanks
