Because of some quirk my blue tooth will not work by just pressing the key. HELP!!!!!!!

the BT key can sometimes be driver controlled, meaning that you need to actually install the HP Hotkeys driver for it to recognize the button and control BT on/off.
Head to HP's site and download and reinstall the bluetooth driver would be my suggestion to begin with
