Whats the cheapest new mobile handset you can get these days that will work with an Aldi mobile sim?

Are you prepared to unlock a handset locked to another network? Do you need coverage for every band that ALDI support, or do you live in a city?

City. Guess the cheapest phones would need to be unlocked. Like the following I Telstra 3G handsets:

Telstra Cruise $19 – Coles (22nd – 28th Feb 2017) [rrp $39]
Telstra Tempo $29 – Big W (23rd Feb – 8 March 2017) [rrp $59]

    Ebay has unlock codes for the Cruise under $3 or an unlocked complete handset delivered for $27 if delivery is easier than getting to Coles.

      I bought a cruise from supermarket, and unlock codes off eBay wouldn't work.

      Depends on the seller. Have a read of this whirpool thread. Plenty of successful unlocks from that seller. So i'll probably just use them.

      Can't remember which I tried. It was one recommended as working on this forum. The eBay person stated can't supply, and refunded.
