oh haha, i only just realized haha. wireless headphones should be registered via bluetooth and if they use usb port, it should be even more fine.
and what works on OG ps4, ps4 pro also works on PS4 slim.

Only PS4 compatible wireless headphones works with PS4.
The other ones work would be the ones with USB dongle, any bluetooth wireless won't work.
Even the Sony made ones won't work.If you're looking for wireless earphone, that'd be even harder as most earphones won't have an usb dongle.
Just to clarify:
earphone = into the ear.
headphone = those usually over the ear bands.i am looking for headphones.
I'm sure you know this, but PS4 outputs the audio to the controller, so in a way, you might be better off just getting plug in headphones, unless you want to be wireless for other things too
as long as it 3.5mm it works. also if you are looking for headphones that lets you use the mic for party/chat, then there are few supported ones.
