PayPal Dispute Issues Help

I have an order from a site in germany items was showing in stock but i find one was delayed and other seller was unsure if he could still get.
I was told previous to order that its $30 for shipping no matter how many items ordered.
And if one of my items he can get would cost more to send.
So really i paid and may need to pay extra for shipping which is fare enough.
But previous to this it was back and forth on these items to the point i said im not interested and to refund me.
Several times i asked but never did so i went on to paypal.
Now he says one of my orders is available now but still does not know about other says maybe 3rd march.
Orginally it was available for both items now one is available and other pre order.
There was a lot of misunderstanding between us lack of english and by this time i had enough.
He said he could not sent one of my orders as i have been in touch with paypal and sure he said funds held.
I dont think thats right as was paid ages ago.
So i just had enough and did a dispute which is ongoing.and i was going to go with that.
Im now emailed by him showing me a heap of his stock of one item i ordered.
But i still have another order outstanding im worried if i dropped the claim he might not send or might not send both and just keep my money.
It's about $400 aud.
Im sure once i drop claim i cant go back asking for paypal help.

What do you recommend if i did drop claim and i end up with nothing surely paypal can help you there?
And am i supposed to be contacting him while a claim is ongoing?

  • Stick with the refund. Certain paypal arent interested after your one and only claim.

    Yes thats what i thought i may have jumped the gun getting into paypal but he was telling me all sorts to start with i sort of had enough. And then asking more for one items shipping after paid also got me going.
    Im sure i will lose money on this by exchanging from aud to euro.

  • Keep paypal claim open
    You shouldn't lose money as they refund you what you paid to him (but exchange rate may not help)

  • push on with the claim definately! You've been stuffed around enough :/

  • For anyone in a similar situation, once you open a claim, DO NOT close it until your money has been returned. Once you close the claim you cannot reopen it.
