[QLD] Is the Suncorp $50 gift card for signing up to CTP still active?

Just did a search and I see some expired deals for Suncorp CTP where they give you a $50 eftpos gift card for switching. I actually did this over a year ago and when my rego was due I switched to a slightly cheaper CTP insurer. Rego is up again so I was looking for CTP deals - I decided to click the expired Suncorp deal and the link still works and to me at least seems to be active.

Anyone tried or will I have to blaze the trail?

    I signed up (for the 2nd time) in Jan of this year.

    I received a $50 eftpos card for the car that had just had it's rego renewed.
    I did not receive a $50 eftpos card for another car that has yet to have it's rego renewed (since I last signed up).

    So I think if you have signed up, you'll have to wait until your rego is renewed and you can then sign-up again.

    Which means you should be OK to get the $50 gift card again :)

      Ok just went ahead and signed up again. Says my card will arrive within 28 days. Thanks for your feedback!

    You can only change your CTP once in a year. A change made mid year only takes affect when your rego is paid. Fingers crossed for a new deal with another insurer.

      I was already with Suncorp when I signed up again (and still received a $50 EFTPOS card)… so do what you like with that info :)

        Unfortunately you are not eligible for this offer.

        The good news is that you are already with Suncorp CTP, the insurer that protects more QLD families.

          @h4lcyon: You can get an EFTPOS from QBE if you're already with Suncorp

      I am with QBE at the moment but still receive "Unfortunately …" message on the check page. I use the second link https://public.suncorp.gji.com.au/?camphash=JoEMmMLGhYn20Oco… and registered. Seems the "camphash=JoE…" is same for all rego. Fingers crossed.

      You can change CTP provider every 6 months, although 12 months rego is slightly cheaper than twice the 6 months.
