in the future… the mods should have something about simply checking the webiste out yourself as these free apps come up almost everyday
some of the free apps for the day arent good though… IMO things like this are good for a post
actually i don't think this is always free. there is a free "lite" version but the full version normally costs $5 or $10
Civilization Revolution isn't always free — its normal price is US$6.99 (not sure what the price in the Australian iTunes store is), and it's only free for a day. I don't think there's anything wrong with occasional free iPhone app posts as long as they are for reasonable quality apps that normally cost something — I, for one, don't follow the freeappaday website so I appreciate the heads up on OzBargain. As always, the community will determine the value of a particular bargain. :)
not free all the time at all… lite version is but not full version. this full version will only be free for a limited time… completely different to the kindle app post… the kindle app has always been free
not this specific app…i mean the website always posts free FULL versions of stuff…
someone should just post this website as a bargain instead of the apps, otherwise we would have one everyday…

- Quality app with multiple good reviews
- Significant discount from regular price, or free
- No lite versions
I also don't follow these websites but are pleased when particularly good app deals are posted here.

It's like this: you hit freeappaday.com, I'll check say DealsDirect, someone else might check out 1daydeals. Whatever coolness we find we post here. You save time, I save time.

these games that are normally on free game of the day are sometimes crap, and sometimes good, so when someone spots one, share it. Come on, you honestly cant complain when it's FREEE!!!

yes, download it via itunes and sync, or just download through wifi by searching the app store.
it doesn't work for me…think my ipod touch isn't compatible =(
thomas, connect your ipod touch to itune, and click on your ipod touch and see if it ask you whether to upgrade to OS 3 (or above)
ipod touch with version 2 or below firmware does not support apps
you will have to pay few US dollars (sorry i cant remember) to upgrade to 3.0 to support apps.
