Bought Samsung Galaxy S7 from Australian Shop, Not Listed As Authorised Reseller, How Do I Claim Free Gear Fit2?

I bought the phone new from a shop but it's not on the drop down list, so have the invoice etc and screenshot of the phone IMEI etc all Au new Samsung fine, no worries there, but the shops not listed (I guess it would then be an 'other' shop and wondering what further proof they're going to need?).

Does anyone know if/how Samsung will be regarding the 'free' gear fit 2 promotion? (i.e do Samsung do anything they can to wriggle out of it or are they pretty good even if it's not i.e Hardly Normal etc.?)

It's not a grey import (AU stock new SM-G930F in Onyx Black.

  Terms and Conditions state it must be on a listed shop. So you dont meet the conditions…. pretty straight foward.

  But if it was me, I would just submit the claim anyway and see if it goes through.

    No mate. I bought mine from Mobileciti, it's not on the drop down list or any other listing of shops on the Samsung page. I confirmed it with Samsung online chat before purchasing and they said it would be eligible I just had to select 'other' and upload the invoice etc. The claim was approved the other day.

  You can try your luck but I'm certain your chances of succesfully getting one is probably close to nil.

  "Participating Retailer" means a retail store, operator or an online retailer in Australia that sells the Participating Product, and is authorised by Samsung for the purposes of the Promotion, and excludes online bidding or auction websites (including www.ebay.com.au), any unauthorised retailer/operator, or a second hand store. The Promoter recommends that prior to purchasing a Participating Product, the customer verify that the retailer is a Participating Retailer authorised to participate in this Promotion, and that the product is a Participating Product;
