Asahi Super Dry Case $43 at BWS with $5 meat/deli Woolworths Receipt

180

Normally $61 at BWS but it drops a whole $18 to only $43 with a Woolworths receipt with I think some meat purchases on it.
Sorry I don't have more details so YMMV, only discovered when cashier told me at the counter (was buying them anyway). Can't find details online anywhere so maybe someone can chip in with anything such as when it ends.
Edit: spend at least $5 on meat or at deli in Woolworths to get valid receipt

You'll need to spend over $5 on meat or deli to get this on your receipt.

    • That takes the price up to at least $48…

        With free meat?!

        • Yes. Title needs updating.

    • Thanks for this. Any idea when it ends?

locally brewed just so you know

Local or PRC? Last time I checked it was China…

      • ah yea i meant not locally brewed in japan. PRC brewed. still a pretty good price actually

$45.95 is the regular price at Dan Murphy's, so not really, you'd be stupid to pay $61, especially seeing as it's ex-China. I steer clear of this stuff, only drink the Karakuchi tins or the draught, which are made in Japan.

@Sir Casm: agreed in some ways but Dan Murphy's is often far less convenient and accessible than BWS for many people

        • @Sir Casm: as an even bigger snob, i would only shell out for yebisu

Use the receipt to get cricketers arms spearhead pale ale instead!.. unless it has strumans ew

    • This…at $9 off the RRP it's a bargain, and cheaper than carton price ($55 @ BWS).

      • I only got a voucher for a$13 6 pack that i price matched atDan Murphy for $12, it also had asahi for $43, bit i figured that Cricketers Arms tastes way better.

  • I bought carton of Asahi last week using woollies voucher. Appears to be brewed in Japan.

      Brewery: Under license in China

      • sorry you are correct. I only saw in tiny writing it mention brewed and Japan but next line saying under licence by TsingTao in China.
        Tastes great though.
