Match your cabinetry with a grey glass splashback

or clear glass with rgb led strip directly below and above the glass so you can change the colour to whatever you like

  • u can go to ikea store to get some inspiration or get one of the staff to mix and match on their pc i think.

Bolognese coloured is the most practical.

  • We recently did our kitchen. White cupboards with a black marble type bench top and a metallic charcoal splashback.
I love that the splashback compliments the bench top instead on contrasting against it.
Hopefully where you are getting the glass from has some samples for you to look at and take home.
(Happy to send you a pic of mine so you can see what I mean)

    • Hey kash1. can you please send me the pics?

      • Taken before it was finished but hopefully you get what I mean.
We tried tiles couldn't find the right shade. The glass I didn't want anything that I would get sick of in a few years. As soon as you find the right colour you will know.
If I was you I would maybe look at a whitish metallic splash back but at the end of the day you are the one that has to live with it

        • Thanks for that kash. it is so confusing to be honest. samples are not really helping us

    • I disagree, the transition from matte to glossy doesn't work for me.

  • Hot Pink is my pick

  • Bring back a touch of the 70's and go with bright orange!

  • I had the same dilemma with our glass ,ash back. Couldn't decide between orange, apple green or red, and settled for white! Plan was to put some colorful decals later. This never happened.

Went to a friends place, they had a decorated glass sandblasted thing. Looks stunning. I don't know what's the right word/name. Suffice to say it is pretty with wavy details. Only cost a little more than ours, and was done by a local artist.

did large (600x300 laid vertically) grey tiled splashback

    • I did something very similar in more a glossy concrete look tile.
Looks great. Easy to clean also.

  • Try a google image search

or pinterest. Hopefully seeing some visuals will lead you into the right direction. Oh and if you choose glass splashbacks work out your power point colours now, might seem like a simple idea but often overlooked.
