  You can also access The Adelaide Advertiser, Courier Mail, Herald Sun, etc with the same $1 subscription. Used it to check the Valentine's Day Messages. Be aware they will call you up and try to get you to subscribe for longer.

    The Australian is a national newspaper, not a state based one.

    I would say there are zero right wing mainstream papers in NSW - and zero national right wing mainstream papers too.

    The totally lopsided and one-eyed SMH coverage of Duterte for example shows just how left leaning the paper is.

        I think it's fair to say that the SMH, The Advertiser and the Australian are all garbage. I wouldn't pay $1 for any of them. That only funds even more fake news and prejudice.

        @GreatWhiteHunter: you're not sure of many things, which is the way it should be. Presumably you slept through the ABC during the Rudd-Gillard years? I'm sure you're aware of the numerous enquiries by conservatives into ABC bias (roflmao). What did they ALL say? Was the ABC "left wing" under the Howard appointed chair and board? How does the ABC fare in polls compared to your "not right wing" Murdoch press? Do ALL ABC staff vote "left"? Just some of the numerous things you could research instead of mindlessly following the path of right wing ignorance.

        The ABC has about 10 TV channels and 10 radio stations. Nearly all of them air rubbish 24x7.

        But they do cater for all minorities and make sure that women/gays/trannies/freaks are all made to feel warm and fuzzy.

        I'd scrap the whole thing.

        @GreatWhiteHunter: didn't take much to draw you out but then again the demographic has many common characteristics, a few of which you have now displayed.

        Your list of ABC listeners and viewers did however overlook just a few categories such as sports lovers, music lovers, farmers, country listeners, ….. I'll take your word for it regarding the 24/7 "rubbish" as you're undoubtedly an expert on all ABC products (roflmao) whereas I only partake of a select few of their offerings.

        I can recommend that leftie/commie radio program "Conversations" if you ever want to enter the real grown up world and hear some fascinating tales from real people (including shock horror, women - so maybe it's not for you after all). Available on podcast so you don't even need to skip right wing kindy.

        I do appreciate your issue though. Catering to all those "women" and "freaks", 90% of whom probably have an IQ higher than your average right winger, is such a "leftie" thing eh? But as YOU know, "women/gays/trannies/freaks" all vote left, right? Looked up those bias enquiries yet?

        If the ABC did actually have ten TV channels then conservative appointee Guthrie might actually have something to whinge about.

        The last time I saw something on the ABC, it was a Muslim girl of less than 22 years of age telling the newly appointed Australian of the year that he didn't deserve to be the Australian of the year because he was a white male.

        That is consistent with ABC and SMH ideology.

Even if it were true how does one unrelated independent person's ignorant comment represent the values and views of whole organisations and their diverse employees? Something to ponder as you while away the hours on the ABC that you claim to know so much about.

        Need some links to those elusive reports into ABC bias or do you think you can find them yourself? Any progress on the supposed leftie bias of those Howard ABC appointees or have you elected to remain in that perpetual right wing state of ignorance?
