Hisense 75M7000UWD Help

Hey guys
For those who have the Hisense 75" Monster I need some help setting my parents one up that they just got.

Hooked it all up and watched Foxtel FoxLeague Titans Vs Knights and notice on certain cameras (Zoomed out view) that the players looked a bit jerky and not flowing smoothly, couldn't really notice it when the camera was zoomed in on close up action.

Also noticed that the players skin tones were reddish / pinkish in certain shots

Tried to play around with the settings but can't seem to get it right

Would like to have settings for Sport and Movies, so they don't need to go changing anything and they an just turn it on and watch and have a great image without any issues

I'm guessing a few of you OZB purchased this TV when it was on sale -

Along with other deals, so I'm hoping someone out there in OZBLand can help me out

Thanks ;)

  • I don't know if this will help with the motion jerky/blurriness but the picture settings here helped me.

    Hisense 7000 series picture settings

I was in the same boat as you and noticed the picture settings were a bit off, hence googling "Hisense 7000UWD Picture settings" found me the above.

The above definitely helped with the pinkish hues on faces when watching Scrubs.

    • Yer I tried the night setting but I get the pink / red skin tones still and the jerky Sport

      • I used the Day or Standard settings for mine.

        • Standard as in the pre set standard settings the TV comes with

  • I'd written a post but my phone somehow deleted it. :S

Here are my settings which I currently use.

    My Picture settings are:
    Picture Mode: Standard
    Apply Picture Mode: All sources
    Brightness: 51
    Contract: 45
    Color Saturation: 44
    Backlight: 48

    Advanced Picture Settings:
    Tint: 0
    Sharpness: 0
    Adaptive Contract: Off
    Colour Temperature: Warm
    Ultra Smooth Motion: Off
    Local Dimming: Off
    Noise Reduction: Off

    Colour Tuner:
    Cyan Hue: -2
    (all the rest at 0)

    White Balance: 2 Point
    R-Offset: -5
    G-Offset: 0
    B-Offset - 4
    R-Gain: -3
    G-Gain: 0
    B-Gain: 6

That helped me out with the pinkish tones anyway. Good luck!

    • Ok thanks
I'll try them out when I have time to get around to my parents house

They just informed me today that they notice a bit of clouding when the TV is on a black screen, also lighter corners

      Do you get this?

      • To be honest, I haven't used the TV much. Mostly the kids are watching their cartoons on it - They haven't complained.

I only noticed the colours were slightly off when some faces looked extremely pink/red. As for black level or clouding, can't say as I'm not the primary user - I'll have a look at motion blur etc when I look at some rugby tonight and let you know.

        • Thanks heaps ;)

        • Didn't notice any motion blur when watching rugby highlights with the settings I have. But perhaps I'm not as keen-eyed as your parents. Good luck. There are settings I haven't touched as I'm just not that visually keen. I stick to my home theatre when watching movies and the kids have this to watch their stuff on HD which works appropriately.
