I was trying to price match Target's current 30% off makeup sale at Priceline today (unsuccessful haha) but was told by a staff member that Priceline's next 40% off Cosmetics sale starts in 2 weeks.

Sale is online and in-store. Shipping is $9.95 or free on orders over $100.

Excludes accessories. Savings based on Priceline's normal national selling prices. Savings and stock may vary in stores and online. Further exclusions may apply in some stores. Please check with store staff before purchase. While stocks last. Always read the label. Use only as directed. Sale commences 22/03/2017 and ends online 23/03/2017 at 11.59pm AEDT.

    Unconfirmed - 40% off

Is Unconfirmed a good brand? I've never heard of it before.

    • +2

I dunno, there's a lot of uncertainty around them, I think it's all a bit up in the air

  • +3

I can confirm 100% this promotion is correct.

    • +1

I asked a staff at my local Priceline and she confirmed it

      • +2

I asked my mother and she confirmed it too.

How about you wait to see some form of official confirmation of a deal, before hopping on here to post.

    Thanks OP

  • Does hair speedy come under cosmetics?

    • +1

Anything hair related, comes under hair.

  • +5

There are currently a few half price or more offers on at the moment for Maybelline, Rimmel and Nude by Nature, if you're after those particular brands:

Just received an email to confirm this promotion. "We wanted to let you know first". No, someone on ozbargain got the scoop more than a week ago! Great find.

  • So what are people planning to buy?

    • Mascara

      • Any product in mind? Just curious to know if OzBargainers read beauty product reviews before purchasing?

      • +2

Best drugstore mascaras - quite thorough review with before and after pictures.

        • Thanks!
I only buy vegan and cruelty free, I'll have to cross check it :)

          Got an Australis one :)

    • +1

My bet is NYX and australis will be out of stock by end of Wednesday, maybe some of the unpopular stuff left over. Best to know what you want before tomorrow.

      • I've gone in at 11.30am on a Wednesday and the Australis shelf is empty at Melbourne Central (Bourke St is much better stocked)

        • Yeh I went into a Priceline store yesterday, all the makeup shelves (apart from Revlon) were pretty much empty, looked like they were closing down. The staff said they will get stock "soon" though…hmm

        • Frigging hate the Melbourne Central one, the staff are horrible there and the stock levels are absolute crap.

        • @lainey13:

Managed to get an Australis mascara from there :)

          Not much left.

    • I was hoping to buy the two new Australis products (Luxelips and Liquid Elixir), but they sadly didn't have them in stock at the Galleries store, I don't think they've been released to Priceline yet :(

Instead I stocked up on my fav highlighter and colour correcting quads from Models Prefer, highlighter and bronzer from Australis.

If anybody is after CoverGirl products, it's half price at Coles starting Wed according to latest catalogue.

  • I have a big list of things… lip liners, primer, eye shadows, foundation and shampoo. Waiting for the deal to restock. Been reading about Mac dupes and now I have a list. Can't wait to try :D

    • +1

Care to share your list? Particularly interested in the MAC dupes!

      • +3

Hi SkyHeron…I bought Physicians formula shimmer strips all in 1 custom nude palette as a dupe of Mac soft and gentle highlighter, Maybelline fit me foundation in 310 as a dupe of Mac studio Fix fluid NC 35, was looking for Essence lip liner in satin mauve as a dupe of Mac soar but couldn't find. Also bought my all time favourite revlop matte lip balms, NYX colour correction patlette, Maybelline gel liner and age rewind under eye concealer, couple of lip liners, kohl and single shadows from essence, Australis primer, physicians formula rose pearl blush, australis liquid strobe, NYX setting spray matte, MP brow perfection.

        • Wow! That's quite a haul :)

        • +1

Yeah…Also bought the nude by nature odyssey and 12 days of Christmas gift sets for my mum n sis. Almost broke now lol :P

        • Awesome thanks for sharing!

      • I didn't even think to look at NYX. I should go back tomorrow!

        • What were stock levels like today at your local store?

        • +1

@moocher: Melbourne Central didn't have much, but luckily they had a couple of mascaras so I was able to grab one.
Tomorrow I'll probably go to the Bourke st store and see what they have.

Love me a bit of free cruelty.

    • cruelty free? how much do they normally charge for it then?

      • You can easily buy cruelty free brands without paying extra. There's cheap brands that are cruelty free, just as there's expensive brands that are cruel to animals. It's about consumer awareness and consumer action.

        • I was asking how much they'd normally charge for cruelty … you clearly missed my /j /s :)

  • Aren't most of the products often at 50% off at Chemist Warehouse or Coles/Woolworths?

    • +5

Chemist warehouse and the big supermarkets carry limited brands, and sometimes a limited range, or limited shade selection compared to Priceline.

      • Limited brands: You can't get NYX, Max Factor (just to name a couple) at any CW or supermarket. Some CW stores also don't carry all their cosmetics brands - my local doesn't have Nude by Nature or L'oreal even though it is available online.
      • Limited range: e.g. Three types of Covergirl primer at priceline, one at Coles.
      • Limited shades: e.g. Maybelline FitMe stick foundation - 6 shades at Priceline, 3 shades in CW + Coles

Finally made it in store last night. Grabbed:

While queueing for the checkout, picked up the Models Prefer Nude Palette for a crazy $3. Impulse buy but not regretting it :P

    • Awesome!! The complete nude one with 24 shades?

      • +1

        Just 12 shades… That's plenty for me :p
