Considering Switching to MyRepublic, Is It Worth It?

Hello,

I got NBN not too long ago and the speeds, definitely were way better than ADSL2+, constantly getting a 10/1 speed, BTW I'm on TPG, but with all the news about MyRepublic, do they really live up to the hype?.

Does anyone have experiences with MyRepublic?, pros and cons? It would be a great help to me. Does anyone have experience from a suburban area?

I appreciate all the advice given!

  • Fttp in suburbia, made the switch earlier this year, no complaints so far…everything went smoothly. Just make sure you select new service, that way you keep your TPG service active right up until your myrepublic service becomes active.

  • Have been with MyRepublic for a couple of months - GamerPro plan @ $59.95 month (through the PAX deal posted on Ozb). Max speeds are about 20/5. I'm in Albury, NSW. Customer service is ok - wait times can be long on their 1300 number, unless you call early in the morning. However, any issues I've had are resolved fairly quickly.

I was with Belong previously, and disconnected because they were unable to resolve speed issues. Overall, customer service was slightly better at Belong, but the internet service was much the same.

  • moved from Telstra and happy with it no issues so far, fttn NSW speed around 95 and 37,
