Optus ZTE Blitz no calls with ALDI Sim

Hi All,
Bagman unlocked this phone for me. I tried using a Aldi Sim. I get 4g data and can send and receive SMS and MMS but I cannot make or receive calls.
When I first factory reset it worked but now completely fails.
I tried the sim on my Samsung and it works.

Cannot find anything useful in Google. Imei is not blocked.
Thanks for any help..
BTW. ALDI support asked me to reboot phone and reinsert sim.. None of which worked.
Do I need to change rom to stock and remove optus branded rom?

    Your phone doesn't support 850mhz 3G for calls. Not a good phone for Telstra.

      And 4G doesn't carry calls unless your handset supports VoLTE
      And Telstra doesn't have 2G network to carry calls anymore, so the only places the phone will receive calls are the very few 2100MHz 3G towers that Telstra have.
