    • Beautiful. Thanks for the support. Enjoy the wines :-)

  • What's the rose like? Sweet or dry?

    • +1

Not entirely bone dry but certainly not sweet either. One the drier side of the equation. Hope that helps.

Welcome to visit either of our two cellar doors showcasing our premium ranges from the Adelaide Hills (K1 by Geoff Hardy) and McLaren Vale (Pertaringa).
Enjoy the wines and your trip to SA. Cheers RD

  • RD ADL just placed an order, but autofill on google chrome added the wrong email address. Can I DM you to correct it?

    • Easy Davowade - please do :-)

  • any recommendations?

    • Personally, I've been drinking a lot of the Cabernet Franc over summer. The GMH Shiraz is always on the money too. In the whites, can't go past the Arneis or Riesling…..

  • +1

$65 for 12 bottles shiraz from SA is tempting…….

    • I had a dozen GMH red blend last winter. It's more than tempting, it's a no-brainer.

  • So much cheap plonk on the market, luv it all, pity i cannot turn it into pee quicker

    • We can try ;-)

  • Thanks OP just ordered 3 cases.
    Cheers,
    Craig

    • Thanks for the order! Much appreciated :-)

  • Yolo, bought the $65 case. Thanks OP

    • Love your work Mr Specter. Thanks and I hope you enjoy. RD :-)

  • Hi there

Interested in the Rizza, what can you tell me about it?

    • Hi Gary. 2016 vintage from Clare Valley. Typical of the variety from that region. Drinking well now, will cellar well for a few more years and an Australian wine writer has rated it recently at 94pts. You won't be disappointed.

      • Thanks , is there a code for the free shipping?

        • Yes the code is OZBARGAIN

  • Ps - where does the export label Rizza fit in the range of domestic GHW?

    • Not quite sure I understand the question but we wouldn't put our name on it if it wasn't of the requisite quality and value. RD

      • By that I mean is it the same quality as the Pertaringa Regional Series Riesling 16?

        • Indeed it is

        • Never mind , ordered a case

          Thanks anyway

        • @Gary King: great to hear. Enjoy. Cheers. Richard

  • awesome. bought too many. cheers

    • Thanks. Hope you enjoy :-)

    • just in case anyone's looking for reviews for future deals.
      i wouldn't buy it again.
tastes like cheap wine. lucky it was cheap.
it's often on "sale" for $10/bottle (the 2016 shiraz), and I'd be disappointed if i'd paid that.
for a reference, sister's run shiraz is often $12 a bottle, and incomparably better.

        Hi Mkerr
Sorry to hear you're not happy with the wine.
The wine is a young, lightly oaked Shiraz made in a style that's for drinking now. The small amount we had left over has since sold out.
We do operate a quality guarantee. Please DM me your email address and I'll be in touch or feel free to email me directly at [email protected]
        Cheers

Just an update for future reference.
The 2014 cab sav is good, and a bargain for the price.

I was contacted by Richard and Andrea from Geoff Hardy.
They refunded me for the shiraz - and let me hang on to it!

I don't recall ever having such a generous offer / experience with a vineyard.

Whilst I didn't like the shiraz (liked the cab sav) I'm incredibly impressed at the customer experience and would / will purchase from them again, and will make a point to visit when i'm next down south.

Thanks Mick for the kind note and comments. I'm glad Andrea resolved the matter quickly and to your satisfaction.
Look forward to seeing you at one of our cellar doors when you are next in Adelaide.
          Best regards
          Richard

Wine was delivered today. Pleasantly surprised. Shiraz was very smooth and easily drinkable. Rose comparable to wine twice the price. Will purchase again. Thanks
