Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty

So I missed out on JB Hifi @ ~$55 and DSE is currently sold out at $69.

I don't mind which region it is from as I only want to play the single player campaign and I have no intention of selling it.

The cheapest I have found a CD-key is here ( http://www.hotcdkey.com/Starcraft-II.html ) for US$51. Is hotcdkey.com even reputable? Are there any cheaper?

  • I went to Game, Big W, Dicksmith, and JB Hi-Fi on Saturday and they were all sold out, so I went to EB Games and they were selling it for $100. I decided to ask them to price match Dicksmith even though were sold out and apparently Dicksmith told them they were selling it for $59.95, so I got it for that much. All the stores were in the same shopping centre

Here's the receipt, its not that good quality.

PS: Playing multiplayer online is much more fun.

  • wrong page

    • Wayward One is asking about two things, one of which is asking for help, finding a bargain for this game

      Are there any cheaper

So it looks like this is where this post is supposed to be …

Is that what you were querying, Garglebutt?

  • Hmm.. try not to buy from US as you will only be able to play with US players.. Have you tried Kmart? they do price match don't forget.
If not try ebay. Only australian version (SEA) would be a good idea.. and if you think region lock is okay.. because they are undoing it.. its not it only works one way. Aus to US not the other way around.

Try fishpond!!! look for some codes.. or make a fake account and put "refer about this product" it to your real account (10 dollar discount if referred) fishpond sell it for 80 atm. and free shipping for $50+

  • best bet is EB with a price match from DSE or JB for like 59$

    • Yeh I tried that already - EB only pricematch in stock items :(((

  • buying from hotcdkey will give you EU or US servers. not the SEA server (oceanic). buying the aussie version will give you access to the US server PLUS the SEA server (do your research).
in short, try to buy from aussie suplier.

    • Yeh that's what I did - I ended up ordering from the DSE website ($69 and in stock - that is pretty much the cheapest SEA version - including digital CD keys!)

  • Anyone with a copy of Starcraft 2 and NOT planning to play online?

Would like to buy CD key if it has not yet been registered

  • If you have a friend who has the game, and you don't plan to play online (i.e. campaign only), you can log-in to bnet with your friend's account once on your computer and you will permanently have guest access to play the campaign. Not sure about the legalities of this though.

  • Anyone had poblems with their dvd rom NOT reading their starcraft 2 disc?

My E: will read other dvd movies fine on my computer but it does not read my SC2?

Initially it had some E: run 32 application error

    Any ideas?
