  • 2kg post at once and soon to be old? Or 500g sent periodically?

    • I get 2kg about every 8 weeks. The products stay pretty good all the way through. I'm just finishing of India Thalanar which is very smooth. It's an all day drinker.

OP, have you considered 6/12 months subscription model with weekly/bi-weekly delivery special for us?

    • Manna Beans has a subscription option on their website:

      http://www.mannabeans.com.au/coffeesubscription/

      • yes, i have seen that before but i was hoping for special deal for us.

i got an annual subscription from sensory lab on special for ~$9 / 250g beans delivered every fortnight. But i run out of beans within 5-7 days, and i was looking for another subscription fortnight subscription.

        • At this stage the only way for a fortnightly subscription is to set up 2 x monthly subscriptions 2 weeks apart from each other :) Hope this helps :)

  • So I just ordered some, along with some cocoa beans.

Curious, maybe the Op knows - do beans release gas even when frozen or does it retard like dough?

I'm considering vacuuming packing some in a few pouches as i have a chamber vac.

    • Sorry but not sure if gas is released when frozen. Having said this what I would recommend if freezing is let then beans degas for a few days first and then freeze. This is often what we do before grinding :)

  • Do you sell Greer beans?

    • If someone is local and wants to pop into our roastery I can assist but for online green bean purchases maybe try these guys ;) http://www.beangreen.com.au

      • Thanks! Will check those out.

How about using a wok to roast beans? Any opinions on that?
