Moving to Orange for Work - Places to Avoid?

Not sure if I'm posting in the right place but my work will bring me out to Orange from Sydney soon and I wanted to know which of the areas there I should be avoiding?

I've heard Glenroi/Glenroi Oval is a bit of a crime hotspot but would living towards the left of the train station be alright?

Where else might I be able to find answers to my sorts of questions regarding security, etc. ?

    Why live in the middle of town? Head out to Millthorpe, Forest Reefs etc. Plenty of hamlets around with a quick enough zip into town

        Regional public transport is horse shit. Maybe get a horse, you dont need a licence

          You can still be done for DUI though. If the horse knows the way home it's too tempting.
