    Here is the Sanda version of the Skmei 1134 which pays homage to the G-Shock DW5600E-1V but is slightly larger - $5.95 shipped
    It's the cheapest I can find it.

    You MUST leave a message about colour you want in ""Add message"" before you pay the money on eBay. Otherwise the order will be sent automatically.

      I imagine these don't keep time very well. Would that be right?

      • yep…it's like a toy for little kids

        • +5

          This isn't a toy, do you own one or are you just assuming because of the price? I've had the Skmei version for about 1 year and wear it to work on building sites, it still looks almost like new.

          Mine loses about 3 seconds a week, but it takes no time at all to adjust these, you just cycle through the mode button back to the time & the seconds will flash, then you hit the top right button when it's at 55 seconds, this will add 5 seconds & bring it to zero, then hit the mode once more to stop the seconds flashing. I actually use this watch to set the time on my other watches because I wear it so often and keep it running about 5 seconds fast.

          I found the Skmei 1134 for $7.48 shipped and $7.88 shipped. but I'm pretty sure they are the same as the Sanda.

          @WatchNerd:
          just kidding mate, has couple for wife but it always missing time though she wears it everyday..:)

        • @WatchNerd: how tough are these chinese copies in comparisson ? not looking to go swimming but i need a tough watch that can take some splash and knocking around. cheap is good, accuracy not too important, but i dont want to have to keep buying new ones and wait 4 weeks to have a watch.

        • +4

          @rakeem: They are pretty tough, the lens is resin but it's recessed so it tends not to get scratched easily. I wouldn't wear it swimming but some splashes would be fine.

          @WatchNerd: Thanks. Ordered one skmei

          @WatchNerd: I've got 5 different skmei I wear them bathing the bub and in the pool - no probs.

        • @pyramid: What do you think of the Skmei 1134?

        • @WatchNerd: still waiting it to arrive….

        • @WatchNerd: So finally received it. For the price, i can not complaint. Only thing i did not like is screen which is sitting inside the body not inline with the top which makes it bit bulky. (Not sure if i am describing it correctly)

          I just checked this one with screen is inline and not sitting insideCasion W800H-1AV

        • @pyramid: That's actually a good idea on a cheap watch with a plastic lens as it won't get scratched as easily.

        • @WatchNerd: Thats benefit. Still trying to figure out how to disable alarm.

        • @pyramid: Use the mode button (bottom left) to go to the alarm, then hit the start/stop button (top right) until the alarm icon on the screen disappears.

        • +1

          @WatchNerd: That was easy..Thanks.

        • @pyramid: No probs, there are 2 icons - hourly chime & alarm.

        • +1

          @WatchNerd: I did not realize that. Now i have got it turned off as well..

    • Alright I'll bite the bullet, I take OP advice + his name, so it should be alright for a first digital watch. $5.95 is a good buy for me

  • Almost jumped on the dw5600 until I realised I still have a gw5000 lying around.

  • +1

    DW5600E-1V is a good watch. wearing one right now.

  • +4

    +1 - Love these consistent timepiece deals WatchNerd, keep them coming. The DW9052-1V is my pick from this bunch!

  • bought DW9052-1V last week about the same price, AUD must have been slightly weaker though 'coz cost me $2 more :/

  • how are the bands on these?

    Have a casio w-73. http://www.digital-watch.com/DWL/1work/casio_w-73/
    Bought in 1998. Had to replace the band a few times now. Probably spent more on the watch than bands. Thinking that I will buy a new watch next time the band breaks. But band is still cheaper than buying a new watch.
    The watch it self has worked really well. Think I've only had to replace the battery twice

    • Great band seeing as it was one of the draw cards for buying this. Had it on constantly for the last few years.

    Hi WatchNerd,

    Just wanted to say, I hate you. Please stop posting these deals, I have no self control.

  • The DW5600E-1V is a great watch, bought it a few months ago and it's a true classic.
