If I purchase camera from Dick Smith eBay (direct import), will I get the tax invoice?

going to buy a canon 5d4 on DS ebay, and it said it's direct import product, but item is located at Melbourne, just wonder can I get a tax invoice for TRS from them?

    I asked if their Nikon D500 was local or coming from overseas and thus liable for customs fees and gst/duty.

    Its been some days now and no reply.

    I decided not to buy

    You may very well get a tax invoice……… from the customs. A demand to pay a processing fee as well as duty and gst.

    Customs don't release the goods until you pay.

    As others have said, if they give you a tax invoice with their ABN which itemises GST paid by yourself, then yes you can claim it back on TRS. The only way to know for sure is to ask them and see if they fit the criteria.
