General Question. Do I book my flight now to go to london on the 20th of April or do I wait for a better deal. Currently the most suitable flight is on Qatar for 1557 return with a tiny bit of cash back to bring it down to 1540 or thereabouts. Do I bite the bullet and just book, or wait around for a deal?
Happy to travel with any airline for a significant discount.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Sorry! return date is 29th of May or thereabouts. Definitely a return flight. I Would prefer decent layovers which seem to be offered by the full service airlines airlines but for a significant discount I'd fly anyone. As an example thai airways is about 1427 for the same travel dates but have not heard the best reviews for thai and the flight times are 8-10 hours longer each way with respect to Qatar.

You've missed the cheap seats - they're all sold. Considering London is coming out of winter $1500 is cheap.
Summer you'll be paying over $2,000
You could get a cheap return Perth/Singapore($300) along with a special fare Singapore/London/Singapore ticket.
Another option, fly to Singapore and then fly Norwegian air which will be cheap but involve one stop prior to LHR . It may offer other flight from their hub to other places in UK and Europe which may be in your travel plan. Worth investigating. Don't forget to leave your bathers in carry on so you can have a swim at Changi airport for about US 15 dollars with shower and juice drink!
I checked Norweigan air. There doesnt seem to be a Singapore flight option.
Looking for a deal in March for April/May is absolutely too late, unless your are talking about 2018. April is High/shoulder season for travel.

What are the 2 promos with Skyscanner and BYOjet? I'm looking at booking some domestic flights within Europe. I'm also going with Qatar for my main trip (already booked).
skyscanner had a byojet cheap flight at 1522 which was cheaper than going thru BYO jet alone.
BYOjet randomly had 30 off any flights leaving Australia. Only comes up from time to time. Also managed to do cashrewards. The trick is to go thru skyscanner, fill your details in the open cash rewards and it detects that you have a flight pending with your details. Then follow through with the cash rewards link. BYOSAVE30 was yesterdays 30$ off I hope that works for you.

Hopefully this might help someone.I have just booked a flight for my 18year old son with Qatar on Sta travel to Birmingham..I got him a student fare for $1,197. I used "Student" code to get a further $50 off. You have to be a student or under the age of 26 to qualify.I booked his Dad a ticket also but did it as separate booking as it wouldn't do my sons ticket it as a student fare. HTH Plus $8 off cash rewards
