It's so hard to tell what promotion this FFX deal is from using the web site. It doesn't appear in the Playstation Plus exclusive discounts, nor the double discounts listing.

Prices for sales are usually adjusted before they promote them on the site. Someone likely had this sitting in their wishlist and saw the adjustment.
Looks like a sale on most games by various Sony studios soon to be announced. The recent released Gravity Rush 2 is half price at $39.95, Knack for $8.96. I'm sure this'll be on the Bargains section once the Plus Double Discounts expire

Personally I think if you don't plan to finish a game or at least invest a chunk of time in it, buying on release day isn't worth it. I completed & Platinum'd FFXV within the first month or so & am happy with my purchase. Had I sat it on a shelf and not done so I wouldn't feel great with myself looking at this discount. This is a great price for people to get on board & experience a FF that was marketed for fans and newcomers alike.
Even my FTTB speeds cannot make this download any faster.

The entire standard edition has been removed from the PSN Store, now only the Premium Edition with the Season Pass remains.

I also purchased earlier today via mobile (glad I did!). Just started the download now and it took about 5 minutes to get to going. Just give it some time.
Error? I got an error 1 and figured out it was lack of disk space.
Mine is still downloading. The license may get pulled like Microsoft did with the Fallout 4 pricing error. Hopefully not though, but I don't have much faith.
I highly doubt it. Last time on the Indonesian PSN Store, WRC6 was like 90% off due to pricing error. It didn't get revoked.

I bought it at work and queued it to download to my PS4 from my phone. Just turned on my PS4 to check and it's downloading and has downloaded a little over 4gb.
Seems to be discounted again to $59.97 but I can't see the double discount for PS plus members anymore. Feeling lucky I got in early!
