Logitech Warranty

Hi everyone,

I saw an advertisement at my uni, someone selling a 2nd hand logitech mouse. So just wondering,

1) if I ask the seller to give me his invoice/receipt, is it possible to claim for warranty in the future? Has anyone go about claiming warranty for logitech products?

2) Do they require some sort of proof of purchase?

3) What if I dont have the receipt/invoice, can I claim for the warranty?

Comments

  • Yes they do need proof of Purchase.I had to deal with them once.

    • Do u know if i can use my friend's receipt as a proof of purchase? is it transferrable?

      • How would they know who bought the product?

  • haha.. i dont know, that's why im asking.. hmm, maybe in the invoice its written the buyer's name?

    • It's just a mouse. The invoice would be just some receipt without the buyers name..

looks to me as that wouldnt be an issue.

Very few reciepts these days come with the buyers name, if it did just say it was a gift and purcahsed on a credit card under the buyers name
