Is it worth waiting for the ASAP indigogo campaign to finish and buying one (Around AU$39, the same as the indigogo US$22+* shipping = AU$39 anyway!)
Or are the WSKEN X mini cables good quality and able to connect easily magnetically? (available via ebay for around half of this (AU$19)
Anyone have one/several and can say if they work as advertised, or are they not as good as they seem?
have you seen the plug dimensions on the first link! the head is 11cm x 17cm. that's is one BIG microUSB! lol.
They are the same as the WSKEN then? They don't seem to have actual product photos, just cgi renders, making me wonder if after weeks of waiting they'll arrive looking totally different?
Still, for $5, might be worth a go!

The plug itself is not as slim line as I originally thought but if you have a heavy duty case it tends to cover it. The magnetic connection is quite reliable it will connect straight up 9 out of 10 times however I have found that if the plug is pulled at an angle or hit from the side it will disconnect quite easily and the weight of the cable itself tends to pull it out when using the phone or tablet in landscape mode. Still for 5 bucks it saves younger members of the family from destroying the cables or the port when the phone is dropped or yanked off the table.
