Current Best Mobile Plans Prepaid

In the market for a new plan or contract. Looking at preferably prepaid. Minimum data. Unlimited local calls and mobiles etc etc. International calls a plus. 12 month minimum or 24 months. What are my options or what do you recommend.

Thank you for your recommendations and input I appreciate it.

Can you justify why? Obviously it isn't value, as they are more expensive than the rest in terms of price per GB

Uses the Telstra 4G network. OP wants minimal data and unlimited calls and texts. Their plans suit the needs stated.

        • Yep priority is local landline calls and local mobile calls then minimal data for emails/instant messaging and maybe location GPS and trading/open hours checking etc. International calls is a bonus but will most probably not need it.

  • I'm also curious. There are so many deals around. Lebara, TPG, Kogan and Aldi.

I dont see why the Lebara one doesn't get more attention- it's like 5GB for $16.58 a month. Also TPG deals aint bad (7GB for $19 a month)

    • That lebara one sounds really good damn. I shouldn't have pulled the plug on my shitty vaya $174 12 months 1gb data plan unlimited calls and international rates..$14.50 a month for regret haha lol.

  • I think Kogan's still 30% off. Like $17 a month for unlimited calls & 5GB data.

Damn I went with vaya 12 month 1gb data unlimited calls international rates $174 upfront works out to be $14.50 per month..I should hand in my Ozbargain card now after this.. I had to go with family for this one don't ask.

  • I'm sticking with Jeenee:
$35, Unlimited everything, 8GB of 4G Data (Optus), fantastic customer service.

    • I got their 50GB 4G Data Sim and they decided to start the billing period immediately when I purchased. 10 days later the SIM arrived and I activated to discover I only get 20 days usage for my first month. Sent them a support ticket asking why. A week later I sent them another support ticket asking why they haven't responded. 5 days later I get an SMS stating they have credited my account for $11. Great service … still no reason given for ripping of their new customers.

    • I'm sticking with Jeenee:

I'm not and I'm paying about 1/2 of what you're paying for data. Granted the customer service is atrocious.

@AlienC: should upgrade to tribal drums … you lose a little range but works in the dark

        • @kywst: I heard though that it's bad for places near a highway or tribal drum workshop… maybe carrier pigeon is best too bad they went extinct and I heard in stormy weather you can get bad reception

        • @AlienC: Ah pigeons. Chickens of the city. Mmmm.

        • @kywst: isn't that rats? Or are they the walking chickens of the city?

I think Lebara Special price of $199 ($16.59 Per Month)
    Every 30 days receive:
Unlimited standard National Talk, Text and MMS + 5GB Data + $5 international call credit giving you up to 250 standard call minutes to selected countries

    Thanks,
