Earning Points for Bank Transfer

Hi fellow OZBargainists,

I have just received an invoice from my agent for a large sum.
I was wondering if there was any way to earn points for paying it.
He doesn't have eftpos or paypal, which means I can't use my Amex Explorer.
I don't have a Post Billbay account, but that won't probably help me either in this situation.

Is there any way of earning points for bank transfers?

    Nope. And plus bank transfers are dangerous because it is a transfer, and not backed by a third party handling your payment.

    For a large sum to protect yourself you should use a credit card…

      i would have thought everyone with an actual office space had an eftpos as well, but he doesnt

          @knick007: PayPal has fees. Who is going to pick that up? The tennant, the REA, the landlord?

          @Baysew: I'm guessing it's directly through the land lord because I've never heard of a REA without a eftpos machine in their office.
