Partial Refund on eBay When Coupon Used

Quick question. Say you bought an item for $10 and used an eBay voucher. $5 was funded by the eBay voucher and the other $5 funded by you.

If you were offered a partial refund from the seller of $5, will the $5 be refunded to you or to eBay?

Now, before you say that partial refund option is not an option for sellers when a coupon is used, I have already received a partial refund offer, awaiting my acceptance.

    It should be listed in the terms/conditions of the voucher.

    You paid $5 and not $10 so you'd only get $5 back. The other $5 goes into the aether or back to ebay or something

      Yeh, I'm only expecting $5 because it's a partial refund, not a full refund. The seller keeps other $5 because it's a partial refund.

      The t&cs I've looked at seems to only mention full refunds, which doesn't help my question.
