$5 Coupon to Use at Woot.com

SERENDIPITY

Woot.com is a group of (American) sites which are a bit like CatchOfTheDay - one day, one deal type things.

The only one I've ever used is http://shirt.woot.com and I have to confess a huge love for it :) They sell one t-shirt a day. Each week there's a competition on a particular theme and anyone can enter - the top 3 shirts get sold Fri-Sun. For the other days of the week, shirt.woot just comes up with its own prints. There's also The Reckoning for all the shirts whose days are up but remain in the top 20: http://shirt.woot.com/Reckoning/

T-shirts are very good quality, range from super-cute to gross and freaky, and are a bargain at US$10 + US$5 shipping to Australia.

I think half the t-shirts I own come from this store, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to acquire some more with this coupon!

ah Woot. I remember this sight back in my days living in America. Things to keep in mind:

Two for Tuesdays (when it is Tuesday in America not Oz). Two items for the price of one

WOOTOFF: A wootoff is when you see sirens on the page. When that item runs out they will post a new item. No waiting for the next day for a new item

Bag of Crap!!!: It may be the best $5 you ever buy, it may be a rubber chicken (literally). Its $5US for a random item. You can buy up to 3 at a time and pay only $5 for shipping. Basically think of it as a lottery where some people get good stuff, other people finance the cool stuff by getting some crap in the mail.

  • Also remember:

    shirt.woot.com

    wine.woot.com

    kids.woot.com

sellout.woot.com <— this site was because Yahoo in America wanted a version for their home page. So woot does this for yahoo's home page but made this the direct link to the item they sell there.

  • I was about to positive this, but when trying to purchase, it said the code did not work. A coupon site suggests it might only be for subscribers to their mailing list, so doesn't work with new accounts. Should I be giving a negative?
