I'm itching to get my hands on the game early before it gets spoiled even worse, I've waited long enough and it appearing over youtube has given me a few spoilers.
So far I have found the best price on steel book to be 79 at jb and target (target opens at 7am so that's where I'm going)
has anyone got any word on if Amazon will be getting the take you heart edition back in stock I am devastated that I couldn't get it in time
It actually happens often, saw it happen with the Zelda Master Edition last month.
It doesn't. The Master Edition Zeldas were available for pre-order right up until release, which suggests plenty of supply. You can still pick them up now. Persona 5's CE with the bag sold out months ago for us, and the Amazon ones went soon after that, with no new pre-order stock coming up.

@Where's_That_Cake: they were. EB opened up first, then 'ran out,' just as JB opened their preorders, then EB opened up again, meaning they were allocated more stock than they initially thought. Eventually gamesmen and others got in it. And they all kept preorders open till launch.

no worries. i remember reading this and my brother showed me the link yesterday.
i called my local and they said they never got any stock and everything comes through their warehouse which is why you cant order it and set it to local pickup and you have to have it posted.
my brother got one, im still sitting on the fence at the moment.
This close to launch? Doubt it, unless there are mass cancellations and they'll trickle in to get immediately snapped up, too.
