If you use a velocity amex card to pay for your fuel at BP then do you get the same amount of points as when you use an amex frequent flyer card + BP velocity card?
If not, then is it possible to use a BP velocity card with a velocity Amex card to get the same amount of points or aren't you allowed to use two different types of velocity card at BP?
I swipe my velocity card and then pay with velocity Amex and get points via both, not sure if that answers your question?

Your Velocity AMEX card is simply a payment method, and it doesn't give you any bonus points for pumping at petrol stations. That being said, it simply means every dollar you spend on your card will earn whatever the standard earn rate is. That also means you can use another AMEX card to pay and earn points on that - again, depending on the card that will determine the earn rate.
In addition to that, you can swipe your Velocity Card (which is not a BP specific velocity card - it is just a velocity card) to earn you 2 points per litre of petrol that you pump.
You can combine/stack it if that's what you're asking, because as mentioned in the first sentence, your Velocity AMEX card is just a payment method. You could do the same with a Visa/Mastercard (i.e. earn Qantas points, for example, on your Mastercard/Visa + on your Velocity card)
