as well as 15% off hair electrical at Priceline

    Including GHD?

    • +2

They don't stock GHD or other popular brands like Clound Nine.

      • Dang! Was thinking hairhouse warehouse for some reason. Cheers

        • Club catch had a gold set for $209

    • +1

To me GHD sounds like an engineering consultancy…

      • That would be GDH haa

  • It's a very good deal thank you! Just in time to stock up some shampoo n conditioner!

  • +5

Stocking up on klorane dry shampoo! Batiste is good too.

    • Verdict if I had to choose Klorane or Batiste?

      • +3

Klorane I feel adsorbs better and isn't as fragarent (which I prefer). If it helps I have black hair.

        • I have only tried Batiste so far. For Klorane, is there a particular one you'd recommend?

I have black/ very dark brown hair too.

        • +1

@fortunecookies: I use the one with nettle (oil control) as I have crazy oily hair. Would depend on your hair type though.

        • +1
Batiste is too strongly (&chemically) scented and gives me headaches
Klorane smells much better and does a good job.

        • @Dadidalol: Yeah it is pretty strong.

      • Klorane for sure.

    • +9

Just a heads up, if you go through a lot of dry shampoo, target sells one by a brand called "girlz only" it's only $2.50 or so a can and imo is pretty much on par with Batiste which I used to use before it. They sell ones especially for blonde/light hair and dark hair, plus a range of different scents. I haven't bought batiste since.

      • Wow thanks :) I'll check it out

        • No problem!

  • Does this include hair brushes?

    • +1

Yea it does! Just not "baby hairbrushes/combs"
You might want to get in early, all the popular brands tend to get snapped up pretty quickly!

      • I advise against getting the Models Prefer brand of brushes. The ball tips break really easily, and you run the risk of cuts to your scalp

      • The banner on their Facebook page say excludes hair accessories. So I guess brushes are out.

        • Brushes and combs come under the banner of 'Hair Styling' in the sale, not 'Hair Accesories'.

I believe they are included, plus there is a picture of a hairbrush in the banner advertisement!

  • Anyone got a recommendation for a spray or oil to make chlorine-damaged hair silky again?

    • +1

I'm not sure about chlorine-damaged hair specifically, but I use OGX keratin oil daily and rate it. Didn't like their coconut one as much.

      • Awesome, will give it a go thank you!

    • Argan oil or a coconut oil hair mask?

    • Moroccan Oil is great to make your hair softer temporarily.

There are special clarifying shampoos you can get to remove chlorine from your hair. Paul Mitchell is one brand.

All these suggestions aren't stocked at Priceline though.

  • Okay… So I've been growing a man bun for the past year and my hair is long, thick and curly. I currently use whatever is half price at the supermarkets with head and shoulders shampoo/conditioner as tend to get flakes if I don't use it.

It's not oily and I only shampoo/condition twice a week although I do rinse my hair with water twice a day. Anything fancy you guys recommend? I read somewhere shampoos are all the same? I also notice quite some hair fall off when I wash my hair - maybe because it's longer so more noticeable?

    • If you have curly hair like me, I hihgly recommend John Frieda's products ! Don't know if they have products for flakes though…

    • You could try Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo. It smells toxic but is VERY effective if you have scalp issues.

It's normal to lose hair. If you wear your hair in a pony or bun for most of the time you will seemingly tend to lose a lot at once when you wash it because it's not shedding naturally like it would when loose.

    • For what reason did I get a neg…

      • Guessing people who feel strongly (negatively) about man buns.
        Could be wrong.

  • Does this include hair ties?

    • +1

Yep, all hair ties, bobby pins, etc.

      • But it says excludes hair accessories on the facebook page.

        • +1

Last time they had this sale, it included hair ties and bobby pins, so I guess I assumed it will be no different this time!

It says "Excludes Restoria, Regaine, Baby Haircare & Hair Accessories"

I guess I'd argue that the lack of the Oxford comma leads me to believe they are talking about baby hair accessories not being included…
          Worth a shot anyway!

  • including hair treatments? like head and shoulders?

    • Yes. I normally stock up on T-gel during these sales.

    • +1

      Yes, all hair treatments :)

  • Sweet. Time to stock up on hair products!

  • I keep seeing the videos comparing store brand shampoos to salon based ones in relation to colored hair. Can anyone recommend any brands priceline stock that might compare to salon brands?

    • +1

Joico, Agadir, OGX… At 50% off, buy one of everything you like, lol…

Probably depends on what colour hair you have. I'm white blonde, so I'm willing to try the Provoke Touch Of Silver shampoo and Joico Color Endure Violet instead of my usual De Lorenzo.

Priceline usually have 40% off sales to restock in time.

      • Completely forgot about dropping into Priceline today and won't get a chance tomorrow so I'll hopefully remember the next time the sale comes up. Thanks heaps though.
And hair colour wise is officially a brunette but I've usually got a purple or red tinge in there too.

        • +1

Order online? It's $10 shipping or free over $100…

  • Does this deal include hair gel?
