Lenovo Declining Cashrewards Cashback

A bit peeved that a transaction I made via CashRewards on the Lenovo website around xmas 2016 got declined by Lenovo.

It was meant to get roughly $140+ in cashbacks for a Yoga 910 but it takes them roughly 4 months to get around to saying no.

That's a ridiculous time-frame as any cookies to prove your purchase would have expired by then.

I might have to start video recording my purchases if I ever buy anything from them again

edit: TA found the real reason. I used a coupon that wasn't available on the CW website. legit.

        double checking my most recent purchase using FLASH570 - this one didn't appear tracked, followed inqury form and a copy of the invoice and it's tracking now

        I did have one that was declined in 07/2015 with EDGEDEAL, - tracked just fine - but had a CR staff had email me and sent my invoice in, somehow it was still declined, but after msg'ing CR they said it was a mistake

  • Send through a complaint to Cash rewards. Include a copy of the invoice showing you purchased on the same date as their click records will show. They may honour the amount anyway.

  • Hmm I hope this doesn't happen to me. My situation is almost exactly the same except I purchased a X1 in late sep and the CR money is still pending

    • most likely won't get it then.

      the only reason it got declined is because i asked about why it was still pending
