as does Kogan

simply purchase from online

gotta wait 3-4 days for the mail though,

Be mindful of carriers, too.

For example, ports between companies that use the Optus network officially take 1 to 5 Business days to be ported, if not more.

  I've done this twice in the last couple of years (between Optus carriers), and it was always done within a day, although I was without service for a couple of hours each time.

    You've been lucky, then.
    
    Optus to Optus ports are manually performed by a person, hence the longer processing time and longer down time, and no movement on weekends or public holidays.
    
    Conversely, when you change carriers, it is almost always instant and is not restricted to movement only on business days.
