If there was ever a game not to pre-order it is this one.
Wait to see if its playable.

    • Or at least wait for a gameplay video to be released.

      • Theres an 11 gig demo on steam just search for afl evolution

        • Think that's just a player & team creator.

I'm hoping the game ends up being decent because things like the career mode sound like it could be fun.

    where is the switch version?!

  • Be aware this is made by the same people who made some of the worst games of all time with their previous AFL games.

    • I had no idea this was even on the cards - new AFL game!

The fact that most who own AFL Live 1 and 2, seem to ignore the sequel in favour of playing the older title from BigAnt speaks volumes.

I really do hope the devs have considered all the criticism gleaned from their last effort and will release something fans will enjoy.

      • The only AFL game I'd even waste my time playing is AFL 99, the first, last and only quality footy video game. If my PS1 still worked I'd boot it up right now :(

      • Who made Live 1?

        • Big Ant Studios.

        • @fookos: sorry i meant two, and whose making the new one?

        • @defmay: trublu entertainment and Wicked Witch. Same as last game (AFL Live 2).

        • @fookos: That's ashame :( I love AFL and I want a good game, i guess i'll go back to the original nintendo one lol

Man, AFL 04 on PS2 was great. 05 and 06 were basically the same too, so either of them really, but man, they were great.

  • The only AFL games i ever enjoyed were the original NES one back in the 80's and AFL 99. As long as this game has the official AFL stamp on it haords of plebs will buy it and the business will have done what it set out to do

  • Now cheaper at JB. Now $79 + $3.50 postage.
