Anyone know good spots for yabbies along mighty Murray?

Is Easter a good time to catch em?

The Murray is a is a tad long, can you narrow it down a bit?
But then again I thought yabbies preferred dams and lakes?

Now that the river is pretty much back to normal levels, I haven't heard of many people catching them.

    Generally, yes… Or at least this is when people catch LOADS of them (we're talking 20lt buckets of them).

Where on the Murray were you thinking? If it's anywhere around the Riverland, sing out and I can offer some suggestions of ideas if yabbying doesn't pan out.

  I'm from Adelaide, don't mind Riverland area but prefer somewhere nearer e.g. Mannum??
