Sells for around $2,000 in Australia. Built-in TV tuner, wifi, bluetooth (sound out), miracast, widi, usb for direct video playback, 2 HDMI (1 with MHL), SPDF sound out, VGA/composite ports etc. Requires a dark or semi dark room, being 1,000 lumens. Ultra short throw projectors require a smooth wall/screen for proper viewing. 30,000 hours lamp life, being a LED projector. Good reviews in Amazon US website where the price is US $1,397. The US model has LG smart TV function but the UK model does not. You can add the smart TV functions by sticking in a Roku or an android stick or an Apple TV or any other HDMI smart device. Enjoy!

  1000 lumens is pretty decent for a domestic unit. in comparison 4000 lumens is around the normal brightness for a meeting room 100". if the surface is at all uneven, the image will be warped. portable screens likely won't provide a flat enough image.

      Not as much.
      A ceiling mount projector is usually close to perpendicular or within 10degres.
      Short throw projectors are more like 45degrees, the increased angle shows up imperfections more.
      Its like having no shadow in the middle of the day or a long shadow at dusk.

      Customs + GST is part of the price. so GBP 608 is including everything. Amazon will charge you taxes before sending it.

    Is the fan noisy? That's the only thing I passionately hate about projectors vs TVs.

      It's not quit but it's not really noisy. you won't hear the fan if you watching some thing.

    how does it work on a fixed screen? too much warping? also is it a good tv replacement or requires too dark rooms like a normal projector?

      it is like a normal projector only difference is it is a short throw projector.

  For those who dont know what ultra short throw is

  You will be able to get a 110 inch screen with the projector 1 meter from the screen

  amazing IMO

  This is a fantastic deal but I am not in the market for one. I have a short throw Benq working fine.
