Looking for Deals on 32GB iPhone SE

Sadly my older iPhone has died and I'm rather locked into their ecosystem. The iPhone 7 imo represents bad value but the 32gb SE isn't bad. Finding it a bit cheaper than the retail would help the value proposition.

Well, retail is $679. So anything less than that is optimal.

      • $600
and ill place one in the classifieds for you

  • Try Kogan, but be aware that 32gb is an extra $100 bump up from $519. This is also an international model, so Apple may not be able to warrant this.

    • Yes, Kogan pricing is bit off -16 Gb for $519, 32 GB for $619 and 64 GB for $639. So 64 GB is better option.

  • does anyone know the current price for an 32gb or 128gb ip7 from costco casula or lidcombe?

Telstra have added the iPhone SE 32gb to their prepaid phones for $449. The downside is that it would be locked to Telstra.

    • Wow! Thankyou so much. I'm on Telstra, thats perfect!

      • I've been wanting one myself so I've been hunting for the best value. So far this is the best I can find.

        • What is the 'locked' status of these phones? They say they're Telstra locked, but I thought no Australian iphone stock came network locked, that apple didn't allow it.

        • @xuuj: I believe that Telstra lock all their prepaid phones and it is only the postpaid iPhones that are unlocked.

        • @jewe1s:

          Fair enough, thanks a lot!

I'm locked into a post-paid plan with Telstra anyway so that doesn't affect me at all, but it does explain the pricing a bit.

        • @xuuj: someone has started a post on oz bargain for this deal and there is a lot of debate about it being locked or unlocked. I'm keeping an eye on that post to see if someone buys it and can verify either way it's locked status. I need an unlocked phone to take a travel sim when overseas otherwise I would have already purchased this deal.

        • @jewe1s:

Id be surprised if its not locked to be honest. As its quite a substantial discount for no benefit if they're not locked. Whats in it for Telstra taking a $200 hit for someone to use on optus?

    • Thanks Jewe1s. Great deal! I think almost worthy of an Ozbargain post on it's own.
