Have you had trouble with Fishpond.com.au?

Hi. I have used Fishpond.com.au in the past and they have been ok. However, this is the first time i have purchased items from their so called 'U.K supplier.' I have waited 4 weeks for my items and they keep extending the expected delivery date. I waited till they allowed me to make a claim for a refund. I did this and they tell me to wait another 8 days. I feel like they just want me to wait and wait until they resend it. I have told them no i want my money back. I claimed the refund.

These items are more than $50 and were intended as gifts. I want to purchase elsewhere and i don't feel like i should have to keep waiting and certainly it does not seem right to keep extending the arrival date of the delivery. What have been your experiences with them and what can do to get my money back. I have contacted them online and emailed them many times and they tell me to wait. My advice, avoid them. There are so many places to buy from and after this i won't use them. I have purchased from the U.K before and it takes on average 2 weeks. Thanks, any advice or help will be much appreciated.

    Fishpond has delivered books ok for me in the past, but completely failed to deliver other items.
    Worse, they did not advise their failure to supply until weeks and weeks had passed.
    Like you, it was a gift and I had to scramble to find an alternative with extra costs incurred.

      Sounds familiar. Thanks 😊 Terrible customer service when u consider others. It is kind of like..Oh just wait another week so we can now actually send the item to you. Funny thing is, they have these time limits to follow up on things but they change the rules when they feel like it.

    not great experiences with them unfortunately. some items never delivered, other items delivered incomplete. Will never use them again.
