What Are The Best Car Buying Websites?

So I'm still looking for a second hand vehicle. Currently I mostly look on Gumtree and Carsales. Any suggestions of other worthwhile sites?

  • nope

but avoid gumtree, unless you want to buy a lemon or a stolen car

      Nonsense.
The vast bulk of cars on Gumtree are fine, and you can ensure the car isn't stolen or encumbered via whatever REVS is called now.
As for lemons, you need to do appropriate due diligence as with buying any secondhand item, but like for like will be cheaper than a dealer.
I probably wouldn't buy an $80k Mercedes on Gumtree, but I don't make those kind of investments.

        'investments'

    • Gumtree is fine, no worse than any other car site. Difference is carsales costs money to advertise, so people are less likely to list cheap cars there. Lemons could be anywhere.

It depends what you are looking for as to where to look.
Cheap car: Gumtree, side of the road
Recent Model: Carsales, Carsguide, actual car yards.
      Rare model: everywhere

got a iphone 5s for $100 that was "voda "locked" which it wasnt
        got a ipod classic 120GB for $50
