I think you haven't put into account that it's US$ on Amazon and takes 9-11 days to ship.
Harbinger Australia ships the same day or at the latest the next day.

Size M is $10.99 USD + $5.85 USD = $16.84 USD converting to $22.46 AUD. This is their everyday price, your sale price is $24.50, regularly $34.99.
Receiving 25th - 28th April is no big deal as people hardly order such things to receive them urgently.
Hence I'm saving myself $2.04, 8.3%, I'd take that any day of the week.
Amazon uses it's own Currency Converter therefore it will be AUD 23.32 and not AUD 22.46. You're right, still $1.18 cheaper than the Australian version.
The example you used (A cheap glove)is correct but most of the gloves, belts etc on the Harbinger Australia will still come up to be cheaper with quicker delivery and quicker returns / refunds just in case something goes wrong.
@rthukr01: I use a 28 Degree Mastercard that is charged in US dollars and the price I quoted is the one that I would pay not the Amazon conversion.
We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, however, I guarantee I could show you plenty of other examples where Amazon is cheaper but time is of the essence. Good luck with your sale.

Check out Amazon. I use Harbinger women's power gloves and the size I buy are cheaper including shipping on Amazon where I've purchased them from twice in the past.
