Some example bargains - each with its own link - in the description area should maximise your post's results. We like to see prices.

    Sales, Catalogues and Stores
If you know there is a good bargain or two in a sale, catalogue or store, it's a good idea to mention one or even two bargains … and provide direct links where possible, to those items.

If there are multiple bargains in the same sale, catalogue or store, it is still advisable to post once only. Then multiple items can be listed in the same posting; probably with what looks to be the best or most popular bargains at the top.

Hard to mention prices when the whole store is on sale.

Every now and then I like to do a generic sale so people can pick whatever they like. It's a good opportunity to get a deal on lower margin stuff that would usually never get a sale of its own.

But thank you for the tips. Appreciate it for future reference.

      • You know what your best bargains are. You may as well add those to your description.

  • All your decent brushes are already sold out

    • Sorry about that :( Brushes are pretty popular. Every now and then we do "customer only sales" that come with the products. Recently targeted brushes. So the stock wasn't at its highest.

      • No worries mate. Cheers

  • Yo, @ShaveRave…

Your Proraso shaving bowls are confusing.
Go to PRORASO: GREEN and it says "If your growth is particularly course, try Proraso Red with Sandalwood oil and Shea butter."
Go to PRORASO: RED and it says "If your growth is particularly course, try Proraso Green with Eucalpytus oil and Menthol."

… I'm stuck in an endless loop here :(

    • … And there is an odd tax amount that gets added too.
~$40 of goods (which should be GST inclusive!) in my cart and a random ~$1.20 gets added as tax.

Oh, and hiding the shipping amount till after paypal is annoying. I felt like backing out then.

Should also mention that you need to add $45 of items to the cart, to still be over the $35 free shipping limit after the voucher is added.

      • That is true. Thank you for pointing that out. I have removed the additional tax amounts. All prices are inclusive of GST. Products were added recently and by default, the system ticks the tax adjustments.

However, as these don't show on the price, we opt to just include taxes in the purchase price. This box had not been unticked for the entire Proraso range. Have just fixed that now. So I thank you for pointing that out.

The shipping is clearly stated both here and on the website that it is free shipping for purchases over $35 if the item is $35 and has a discount applied.. then the shipping calculate as the purchase price is below $35. It's an automated system.

For items that do require shipping, our shipping prices are subsidised by shave rave. Express post is subsidised by $4 and Standard post by $2.

        Hope that clears things up.

    • I was told once the the Green one with menthol is better at preventing infection?

      • I usually use green, but was going to give the red a try based on the claim of it being better for coarse beards.

Now it just looks like marketing fluff. Will just stick to green.

        • Green one with menthol is better for more sensitive skin, haven't heard about it preventing infection, but then again, infection is pretty rare with wet shaving if you use clean blades and post wash your face.

There was a few typo's in my product description. But the Proraso Red softens hair much more. This level of softness would probably be unhelpful if you had thin blonde hair… just isn't necessary. However, if you have very course hair. It is very helpful.

For myself, the green is the best fit. The red is too aggressive for my skin. But I know barbers that love it for straight shaves on course beards.

    • It should be Proraso Red that is good for the course growth. The products were only added recently. The green one is for sensitive skin.

      Will fix. Thank you.

  • Thanks, trying out Layrite Cement

    • Not a problem! hope you love it!

      • Hey rep, my order #1218 was incomplete, I sent an email last Friday but haven't had a response yet? Hopefully you can see that I've made a couple of orders before so not trying to jerk anyone around and get a freebie

Hey, responded to your email. My spam filter picked it up sorry.

Sending out the missing tub and a discount code as method of apology.

And thank you for being an amazing repeat customer.
